WINZ Dental Assistance
Help with Urgent Dental Treatment?
Need urgent dental care but worried about the cost? Work and Income (WINZ) may be able to help with the cost of essential dental treatment, such as:

extractions
-
fillings for tooth restoration – not for cosmetic or for non-oral health issues
-
root canal treatment (except molars)
-
treatment of infection
You can apply more than once a year (any 52-week period), up to a total of $1,000 for the period. You don't have to apply for all the assistance at once. You don't have to pay this money back.
How to Apply:
Step 1: Get a dental examination quote from Tikipunga Dental Centre for the necessary x-rays and photos to complete a thorough assessment.

Take this quote to WINZ for prior approval. Once this has been approved and the money paid to Tikipunga Dental Centre, an appointment can be booked for the examination.

We need to complete a WINZ quote form for the initial assessment.

Following this assessment another quote will be provided for the necessary treatment.

ACC Claims
Urgent Dental Treatment for Accidents
If you’ve had a dental injury from an accident or sports incident, Tikipunga Dental Centre is an ACC-registered practice and can assist. Our team works closely with ACC to ensure you receive the right care.

How to Apply:
We’ll complete an ACC claim form and submit it to ACC on your behalf. Make an appointment with us today.

Will it Cost Me?
In most cases, we can treat you at your first appointment. You’ll pay part of our standard fee, and ACC will cover the rest. Any questions, give us a call on 09 5533 640 and we’ll happily talk you through the process.
Q CARD
Offer from Tikipunga Dental Centre
We are offering 12 months interest free terms to all our clients for purchases over $300.

Afterpay
Pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every two weeks. You’ll pay your first installment at the time of purchase, and the remainder over time.

Southern Cross Easy-Claim Insurance
Southern Cross Health Society Easy-Claim (“Easy-Claim”) is a convenient way for Southern Cross members to claim for eligible healthcare services at the time of purchase, without completing a claim form.

How to use Easy-Claim
You can use Easy-Claim at participating healthcare providers. Simply present your Member card or use the mobile app's virtual Member card at the counter when you are purchasing eligible healthcare products and services.

If your plan covers the product or service and it qualifies, we’ll reimburse the provider directly and you’ll only pay any remaining contribution you’re responsible for, so you don’t have to worry about filling out claim forms or waiting for a refund.*

Not all healthcare services can be claimed through Easy-Claim. If you are required to pay for a healthcare service and believe you have cover under your policy, you can submit a claim online.
