Dr Matt Ross
Dentist
Dental Implantologist
BDS (Otago), DipImpDentRCSEd

Matt is extremely passionate about dentistry. His work combines the technical skills of an engineer, the flair of an artist, and the empathy and knowledge of a doctor.
Matt loves learning and has embraced opportunities to travel (pre-Covid) and upskill all over the world. He has invested heavily in professional development over his 25 years' in the dental industry. This has helped him develop a unique skill set that complements his experience and friendly chairside manner. Matt has a way of explaining things clearly, so that patients come away feeling well-informed and reassured about the next step in their oral health journey.
In October 2015, Matt became one of the first in Australasia to gain the prestigious qualification of a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, Scotland. This examination assessed Matt’s knowledge of all things related to Implantology, Oral Medicine and General Dentistry.
Offering IV Sedation means Matt can help nervous patients control their fears and feel confident visiting the dentist again. Matt’s sensitive and caring chairside manner is very reassuring to these patients.
Matt also has a special interest in Invisalign Orthodontics, Botox, and Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy.
